We hate to say ‘we told you so.’ Actually, ‘hate’ is too strong a word. Let’s put it this way, it would be better for everyone if we didn’t have to remind people of what we’ve been saying all along and have now been vindicated over.
Former President Barack Obama began working against Donald Trump from the moment Trump won the GOP nomination. On the same day, Trump officially won the Republican nomination, Obama set plans in motion to sabotage his chances.

From the outset, there’s one aspect of this that is totally non-controversial- the fact that Obama used Airforce One and other publicly funded resources to actively campaign against candidate Trump and to promote the Clinton campaign. This alone- stumping for a former member of his own administration, someone who has similar political allegiances- is a gross conflict of interest. The very idea of a sitting president working to influence an upcoming presidential election should have had the nation in an uproar.
But because the media didn’t say anything about it, and the judicial system didn’t seem to be bothered by it no one seemed to notice. The sheep don’t really take much of anything seriously unless they’re told they should. So Obama got away with it.
But anyway, who cares right? After all, Hillary didn’t win, thank God. So what does it matter? Well, it turns out Obama went further than just stumping for Hillary. He set up a whole shadow government for the sole purpose of undermining the Trump presidency and to ensure he would be just a one term president.
We know the terms “shadow government,” and “deep state” have been overused lately. But what can you do to describe a thing accurately other than to call it what it is? Clichés usually become clichés for a good reason.
As it happens, Andrew Weissmann, the number-one prosecutor for special counsel Robert Mueller, praised former Attorney General Sally Yates for refusing Trump’s order to enforce the travel ban. Weissmann said, “I am so proud and in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respect,” which is gross and repetitive. But it shows where his allegiances are.
He said that despite the fact that the travel ban was upheld in a 7 to 2 ruling by the Supreme Court. What this shows is that there is and has been open opposition to the legitimate authority of President Trump from the early days of his administration.
Weissmann made donations to Obama during his time as a private lawyer. He also contributed to the Democrat governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo. Now, he’s the right-hand man to Mueller.
Weissmann oversaw the investigation into Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort and was behind the pre-dawn raid of Manafort’s condominium during which his wife was forcefully frisked.
The email in which Weissmann’s praise for Yates’ insubordinate behavior was discovered came via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
But these are just a couple of the many and various underhanded Obama connections to anti-Trump actors within the government.
Former FBI Director James Comey fired up his own criminal investigation of Trump’s election campaign team based wholly on the now thoroughly debunked Russia dossier. We know now that the document was the work of a former British spy who was paid by Fusion GPS which in turn was paid by the DNC lead by Hillary Clinton. The dossier was first made public by the online click-bait tabloid Buzzfeed and the mainstream media eagerly picked it up and ran with it.
Of course, the nature of the way the document met the public eye doomed it to having zero credibility. And the entire narrative completely collapsed despite the MSM’s incessant coverage of the accusations against Trump.
If the MSM hadn’t pushed the story so hard it might have lasted longer than it did. But, the lady doth protest too much. Because they insisted on doubling down on the Russian collusion narrative, the complete lack of evidence behind it became obvious rather quickly.
And, not that liberals noticed, but when Donna Brazile released her tell-all book detailing the shady dealings of Hillary Clinton and the DNC, we learned that even the media was in the back pocket of the Clinton campaign and had been infiltrated by Obama’s CIA.
In fact, John Brennen, the CIA Director during the Obama administration and former advisor to the Obama election campaign- provided James Comey with the identities of Russians with whom anyone even loosely associated with Trump had ever made contact.
It didn’t matter how loose or dated these contacts were. They were made into a list that gave Comey plenty of room in the area of speculation- speculation that would go twice as far on CNN. Brennan told Congress that he had given Comey the list of Russian names, but said that he didn’t know what the meaning of the list was meant to be.
The Russian investigation was never about winning any legal battles against Trump. It was about confusing and misleading the public long enough and hard enough to weaken support for President Trump. Why was it not about winning legal battles against Trump? Because they hadn’t a leg to stand on.
Obama’s director of national intelligence, James Clapper, told CNN, “I really question [Trump’s] … fitness to be in this office. And I also am beginning to wonder about his motivation for it. Maybe he is looking for a way out.”
In late 2016, even after admitting to poor reporting standards, the New York Times wrote, “Phone records and intercepted calls show that members of Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and other Trump associates had repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election, according to four current and former American officials.”
But the story contradicted Comey’s testimony before a Select Committee on Intelligence.
Again and again, we see the media and Democrats lying in lockstep, in a coordinated fashion. But when it comes time to produce the goods- they fail repeatedly.
While Obama holdovers went to war with Trump, the FBI went to bed with Clinton.
This is the epitaph for the Russian collusion story. And in the wake of its failure, what do we get? Sexual allegations from washed up porn stars.
