The FBI announced that it cracked a big case this week. Iranian hackers breached the Trump campaign and then released non-public, stolen materials to the Joe Biden campaign and then to the Kamala Harris campaign that replaced Biden.
Great job, FBI! You guys are always so helpful to the Trump campaign! How’s that investigation into Thomas Crooks going, by the way?
But we digress. We wonder what’s going to happen next in this exciting saga of the FBI catching Iranian computer wizards hacking our democracy!
Actually, we don’t wonder at all. As it turns out, we’ve seen this movie before. Here is the “official” story from the FBI, as it’s being reported by the fake news media this week…
Iranian hackers breached the Trump campaign early in the summer. They stole campaign materials and then leaked them to the Biden and Harris campaigns. This is being done to conduct foreign interference in the 2024 election.
Look at the above paragraph again. Replace “Iranians” with “Russians” and replace “2024” with “2016.” Do you see it now?
It seems like ancient history now, but we have to dredge up parts of the 2016 intelligence operation against Donald Trump’s campaign back then to understand what is happening today.
White hats in the intelligence community informed candidate Donald Trump back in 2016 that Barack Obama was wiretapping his campaign. Trump called Obama out for this on Twitter at the time and everyone called him a conspiracy theorist.
In truth, the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign after it lied to the FISA courts to obtain a warrant against Carter Page. When they got caught, the FBI launched the “Holy schnitfeathers, Russia hacked our democracy” hoax.
This was a completely separate hoax from the Russian potty dossier hoax, which came along later in the summer of 2016.
The DNC and Podesta emails were leaked to WikiLeaks that summer, most likely by the late DNC staffer Seth Rich. WikiLeaks became a convenient patsy. After pretending to conduct an “investigation,” in which it never even examined the DNC servers, the FBI concluded that Russia had hacked our democracy (by hacking John Podesta’s weird emails).
The entire thing was a convoluted and roundabout way to distract the public from the fact that Barack Obama had the FBI spying on a presidential campaign.
And now here we go again, with Iranian hackers supposedly hacking our democracy in 2024. The most likely thing that we can conclude from this is that the Biden-Harris team has the FBI spying on President Trump again, and they’ve been caught.
Trump even sent out a tongue-in-cheek message about it on Truth Social, wondering whether Kamala would now resign in shame—or whether the Democrats would end up replacing her with a new candidate.
I’ve never bought into the whole “Iranian hackers” thing. Russia and China probably have some very good hackers, but countries like Iran and North Korea? That just doesn’t seem plausible. Iranian structural engineers can’t even create a building that won’t collapse anytime there’s a magnitude 3.0 earthquake over there. It’s hard to believe that they’ve got a lot of computer wizards that pose any sort of threat to us.
It’s like the mainstream media and the federal government constantly telling us that Iranian physicists are just six months away from building a nuclear bomb. They’ve been telling us that since 1979. Is the six months up yet?
The fact that we’re even having this conversation and doubting the “Iranian hackers” story just goes to show the incredible disrepute that the FBI has fallen to these days. No one trusts anything that the bureau says—and with good reason. The FBI has a horrific track record and it never fires anyone unless it outs an employee as a Trump supporter.
The FBI has spent the past four years arresting January 6 protesters who never harmed another person, they simply had the audacity to walk through the doors of the Capitol building after police held it open for them. That’s when they’re not busy harassing parents at school board meetings, arresting pro-life protesters for silently praying near Planned Parenthood or spying on Catholic churches.
But we’re supposed to believe suddenly that the FBI is protecting the Trump campaign from Iranian hackers. Right. I seem to recall that after a two-year investigation, Robert Mueller never found a single Russian that was involved in the 2016 election. Next, we’ll be hearing rumors that President Trump has been secretly colluding with the Iranians to steal the election.
