A trove of formerly secret documents has just been declassified by President Donald Trump, and these documents further confirm that the FBI did everything they could possibly think of to try and frame the MAGA leader as a “Russian asset.”
The documents reveal that a key FBI “informant” at the heart of the debunked Russia-collusion hoax, was paid $1.2 million by the FBI to provide them with anti-Trump intel – EVEN AFTER the bureau had concluded that he was not a trustworthy informant and had lied to them about Trump in the past.
This former FBI informant was a man named Stefan Halper – a pentagon consultant and academic who worked with former British spy Christopher Steele to make up the entire Russia collusion narrative which the left STILL tries to shove down our throats to this date.
Halper also just so happens to be a long-time CIA operative who allegedly has a history of spying on presidents that even left-wing outlets like The Intercept have suggested make him a “highly sketchy” source.
According to the documents, Halper was motivated in part by “monetary compensation” to provide the FBI with fabricated intelligence that they could use to go after Trump – and he did just that.
Halpern was reportedly the source of a claim that General Michael Flynn had met with a Russian scholar by the name of Svetlana Lokhova when he was a three-star general leading the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014 which launched an investigation into Gen. Flynn, who is one of America’s most loyal patriots.
Eventually, the FBI accurately labeled Halper’s claims to be “not plausible” and “not accurate” – BUT THEY KEPT INVESTIGATING FLYNN!
At this point, the bureau continued paying Halper and claimed he was still a “suitable” confidential human source… for their needs anyways…
One memo from March 2017 showed the FBI’s Validation Management Unit (VMU) wrote that it “assesses it is likely HALPER is suitable for continued operation, based on his or her authenticity, reliability, and control” while completely ignoring his history of providing fake information that was designed to frame the President of the United States as some kind of Russian puppet.
The VMU then recommended that the FBI’s New York field office continue to use Halper as a source.
“VMU recommends FBI New York continue to operate HALPER. VMU assesses it is likely HALPER will continue to contribute to the FBI’s Counterintelligence Program,” the FBI unit wrote. “VMU assesses HALPER has provided valuable information for FBI NY based on his or her unique access.”
This unit admitted that Halper was providing intel on “two initiatives dealing with Russia.” One of those was presumably the Flynn story, and the other was based on providing MORE false information “pertaining to the U.S. election involving Donald Trump’s close associates and their potential ties to the Russian government.”
But then, funny enough, the FBI unit also confesses that they had NO WAY of corroborating any of what Halper was reporting to them… but they still chose to use his reporting to launch some of the most bogus un-American investigations that this nation has ever seen.
These documents further reveal that Halper worked as a confidential human source for the bureau back in 2008 up until 2011 when he reportedly “violated instructions” and was shut down.
Eventually they reactivated him and he proceeded to “comply with all instructions given to him by the FBI.”
Now, what this likely means is that when they brough him back on the payroll, he was a good little boy by providing them with the exact kind of intel they needed in order to, let’s say, investigate presidents that were threats to the establishment like President Donald Trump…
But according to the FBI, it wasn’t ONLY about the money for Halper.
The bureau said that a big part of his motivation was “patriotism/ideology” and given his status as a long-time CIA agent, it’s not hard to imagine what kind of skewed sense of “patriotism” he might have had…
