SODAGATE: Scandal Reveals “MAGA Influencers” Secretly Paid to Attack Trump Agenda

Journalist Nick Sortor revealed on X that several “MAGA Influencers” are being BOUGHT by a massive industry in order to peddle a message opposing part of President Donald Trump’s plans to make America healthy again. And if they’re willing to be paid off by the left for this, what else are they willing to sell out for?

The scandal began when rumors started circulating that Department of Health and Human Services, led by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is looking at banning people receiving SNAP benefits (food stamps) from being able to buy junk food like soda.

The thinking here is not to ban soda outright, but simply to prevent people from using taxpayer funds to buy it, a very logical decision that would almost instantly make America healthier.

However, Big Soda (no, I’m not kidding) was obviously not a fan of this and it’s not hard to imagine why: Coca-Cola makes 40% of its revenue from food stamps.

Needless to say, this idea has them a bit panicked – and that’s where the MAGA influencers come into play.

According to Sortor, a company called “Influenceable” has quietly been cutting paychecks to these right-wing influencers in order to get them to push the same anti-MAHA narrative.

As Sortor points out in his X post, these people were allegedly being paid to defend Big Soda’s money train and trash a plan that legitimately would help make Americans healthier.

Not only were they supposedly being paid, but they also did not disclose that they were being paid – signaling they KNEW what they were doing was wrong but they wanted to keep it under wraps.

Sortor, who claims to have an inside source who provided him the exact “influencer templates” being given to these individuals, posted a screenshot of it and it reveals that they were being told to specifically mention President Trump’s affinity for Diet Coke.

The obvious difference here is that Trump buys his own diet coke – unlike the taxpayer funded SNAP program which there are allegedly being paid to defend.

They’re also being told to push the narrative that it’s “government overreach” to restrict the purchases made with food stamps.

All of this is CLEARLY designed to manipulate the MAGA base and invoke an emotional response – which is exactly what the company behind it specializes in!

Influenceable is a marketing agency that “specializes in high-impact campaigns for public affairs initiatives,” according to their LinkedIn.

According to Sortor, Influenceable is believed to be working with powerful Big Soda lobbying firms like the American Beverage Association and the Americans for Food and Beverage Choice, who are ultimately funded by beverage giants Coca-Cola and PepsiCo.

Obviously we’re just talking about soda here, which in the grand scheme of things is probably not that important but the concerning part is just how easily these supposedly America-first influencers- with MILLIONS of followers – were paid off to push the messaging of the highest bidder.

It begs the question, what other damaging narratives have they been shoving down the throats of Trump supporters, and what else are they willing to push in the future just to make a few bucks?

This is a good reminder not to trust everything that someone says just because they seem to be proponents of the America-first movement.

If the Democratic party has taught us anything, it’s how DANGEROUS the hive mind mentality can be in politics.
