Speaker Mike Johnson Just Got Rocked by MAGA World

The last time that Congress passed a budget on time, Newt Gingrich was the Speaker of the House. It was 1996. Ever since then, Congress has wasted every entire calendar year waiting until the last second before Christmas vacation. The leadership of both parties suddenly unleashed a gargantuan Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep the government funded until the following year.

That “tradition” finally ended this week when the American people were able to announce that we’ve had enough of this nonsense. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) just got rocked by Donald Trump’s army of supporters.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) predicted back in October that the same old song and dance would happen this year. He was right. Congress fumble-farted around, didn’t pass a budget, and unleashed a monstrosity CR at the last minute. The bill was 1,500 pages long and no one had enough time to read it.

But…

Elon Musk obviously had a team of people tear through the bill and pick out some of the most outlandish, wasteful, pork-and-DEI provisions in the bill and started highlighting them on X.com (formerly Twitter).

Speaker Mike Johnson tried to blackmail Members of Congress by putting $100 billion in relief funds for the victims of Hurricane Helene. He even argued that if the bill was not passed—immediately—people would be turning their backs on the victims in North Carolina.

What a loser!

Hurricane Helene was three months ago. Congress has had plenty of time to pass a bill to help those Americans. They could have passed that as a simple one-page bill at any time since October. But no, they waited until the last minute so they could call yet another monstrous CR a “must-pass” bill.

Here are just some of the garbage spending proposals that Mike Johnson allowed the Democrats to stuff into the CR:

$850,000 for an LGBTQIA+ AirForce nursing home; $15 million to pay college tuition for students in Egypt; $400,000 for a gay activist group to teach elementary students how to be transgender; $500,000 for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion zoo; and $400,000 for a group that gives clothing to teenagers to help them hide their gender.

I shudder to think about what sort of gay pornographic skeletons are hiding in Mike Johnson’s closet.

Congressman Dan “Gay Pirate” Crenshaw (R-TX) came up with the bright idea to include a 40% pay increase for Members of Congress this year. Congress also wrote another exemption for itself from Obamacare into the bill. Crenshaw whined that Members of Congress need a pay increase to keep up with the rising cost of living.

Hey, Eyepatch McCain: THE INCREASED COST OF LIVING IS YOUR FAULT!!!

Yeah. The RINO who made the luckiest stock picks in Congress in 2024 is complaining about the cost of living. Meanwhile, every American household has lost $14,000 a year in purchasing power over the last four years because Republicans in Congress have fully funded Joe Biden’s radical agenda. But whatever.

Donald Trump and JD Vance both spoke out against the CR. The media is claiming that it was pressure from Trump, Vance, and Elon Musk that convinced Speaker Johnson to withdraw the bill (which he did late Wednesday). That wasn’t it, though.

Elon Musk gave us the platform to do it. “We the people” killed this awful bill.

Now that we have a free speech platform where we can actually voice our displeasure with the government, we all amplified the message that Musk, Trump, and Vance were sending. Even more importantly, we took action by picking up the phone and melting down the congressional switchboard. The House Republicans’ phones rang non-stop on Wednesday with one simple message for them:

Vote for this bill and we will #@%&ing primary your worthless duffs out of Congress in two years.

And guess what? We won.

Even though he had the support of every Democrat in the House to pass this bill, Johnson’s goose was cooked. There’s a very real chance that he’ll lose the Speakership in January because of this business-as-usual stunt.

Business as usual is over. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) suggested that Elon Musk should be the new Speaker. There’s nothing in the Constitution that requires a House Speaker to be a Member of Congress.

What an amazing day for America!
