President Trump has promised to free the pro-life political prisoners who were unjustly jailed by the Biden regime over the last four years. He’s been acting so fast on his promises that the pardons may have already been issued by the time that you read this.
Pardons for January 6ers, pro-lifers, and others persecuted by the Biden regime are great. So are President Trump’s executive orders. However, these actions must be backed up by legislative action by the Republican-controlled House and Senate. The GOP must repeal the FACE Act, which is the Bill Clinton-era law that the Biden DOJ abused to arrest Americans for being pro-life.
The Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) was signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1994. The law stipulated three things. It made it a federal crime to violently obstruct access to an abortion clinic; it made it a crime to violently obstruct access to churches; and it made it a crime to violently obstruct access to pro-life pregnancy crisis centers.
This is a stupid law that was obviously designed to target pro-life protesters at Planned Parenthood’s baby murder clinics. No one ever obstructs us when we try to go to church. There are two reasons for this.
First, we’re armed. And second, Democrats are too lazy to drag themselves out of bed before noon on Sundays for protests.
Prosecutions under the FACE Act are so rare that they’ve only happened 211 times in the last 30 years. Shockingly, 25% of those prosecutions happened when Joe Biden was in the White House.
As of the first two months of 2023, the Department of Justice announced that it had arrested 34 pro-life Americans for blocking access to abortion clinics. So, that was just in the first couple of years that Biden was in his stolen office.
During that period, Democrats firebombed 81 pregnancy crisis centers. After the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision was leaked, 130 Catholic churches were attacked and either vandalized or set on fire by Democrats. Those combined attacks only resulted in two (2) arrests by the Department of Justice.
The DOJ didn’t send the FBI out to try to catch most of the people who set buildings on fire and put lives at risk. Instead, they arrested peaceful Christians for singing hymns or praying silently at abortion clinics while not bothering anyone.
Mark Houck protested at a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood clinic. Merrick Garland sent 15 FBI vehicles loaded with SWAT officers to arrest Mark in front of his wife and children. They pointed machine guns at Mark, his wife, and their little kids.
According to the Houck family’s attorneys, “The children stood on the stairs screaming, crying, and watching in terror as heavily armed agents hauled their father away.”
That’s the kind of jackbooted force that the communists in the Biden regime deployed against pro-life families. Mark Houck’s wife suffered three miscarriages because of the stress over her husband’s persecution. A jury acquitted Mark on all charges and now the Houcks are suing the Department of Justice for its outrageous treatment of their family.
Merrick Garland also arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned an 89-year-old concentration camp survivor for singing hymns inside an abortion clinic.

No one on our side of the political aisle was safe from this regime and the way that they trampled on the rights of Americans. In total, the Biden DOJ successfully prosecuted and imprisoned 21 pro-life Americans using the FACE Act. As of this writing, they are all expected to receive pardons from President Trump.
Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) has introduced the FACE Repeal Act of 2025 in this session of Congress. The weaponized Department of Justice abused the FACE Act to persecute Joe Biden’s political enemies. This is why it is so important for the House and Senate to support President Trump’s priorities by backing them up with legislation.
It’s great that President Trump is pardoning the victims. But unless the FACE Act is repealed, the next Democrat who ends up in the White House will go right back to abusing this law. The churches can protect themselves. We don’t need the government’s help for that. By repealing the FACE Act, it will ensure that no future liberal regime can do the same thing.
