One of the more bizarre things that President Joe Biden declared war on was household appliances, but President Donald Trump put an end to this nonsense once and for all.
As part of Biden’s moronic climate plans, he put into effect a number of regulations on household appliances which restricted the options made available to the American consumer while simultaneously forcing them to pay MORE MONEY for WORSE PRODUCTS.
The former president banned certain types of gas stoves, washing machines, ceiling fans and even light bulbs in a move that NOBODY asked for and which only made life worse for Americans.
While Americans could barely afford to buy food– Joe Biden was trying to make it more expensive for Americans to cook that food!
But President Trump says it’s time to return to “common sense.”
In an early morning social media post, Trump announced that he was ordering the immediate reversal of Biden’s “green energy” regulations on household appliances along with the reinstatement of environmental orders he issued during his first term.
The president wrote, “I am hereby instructing (Environmental Protection Agency) Secretary Lee Zeldin to immediately go back to my Environmental Orders, which were terminated by Crooked Joe Biden, on Water Standards and Flow pertaining to SINKS, SHOWERS, TOILETS, WASHING MACHINES, DISHWASHERS, etc., and to likewise go back to the common sense standards on LIGHTBULBS, that were put in place by the Trump Administration, but terminated by Crooked Joe. I look forward to signing these Orders. THANK YOU!!!”
Common sense has been hard to come by these past four years, with Biden and his band of idiots introducing some of the absolute worst policies this nation has ever seen.
Even those who are too blinded by their hatred for Trump to admit that he’s done anything good will benefit from this cost-saving move, but there’s still more work to be done because Biden passed A LOT of restrictions like this.
Luckily, Trump is not alone in the fight to completely eradicate these useless Biden regulations.
Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-OK) introduced a joint resolution condemning Biden-era standards for coolers and freezers which were set to go into effect in February had it not been for the resolution.
Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL) introduced another resolution to block Biden’s last-minute ban on water heaters which was referred to as a “radical ban” and an example of severe “government overreach.”
Earlier this year, Republicans in the House of Representatives also passed the “Liberty in Laundry Act” to prevent any future climate radicals in the Department of Energy from “implementing or amending energy efficiency standards for clothes washers that are not economically justified,” which basically just means they banned future Democrats from putting in place future standards which make things more expensive for Americans for the sake of playing their “climate change” game.
What have the Democrats been doing throughout all of this? Sitting on their hands, happy to let the people who elected them pay more for their everyday appliances over some made up climate standards!
Once again, the Democrats have made it clear to the American people that they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEM!
